We are using SAP Crystal reports 2011 in the ODP platform (Server). OS : Windows 2008 server
We have a main report which is scheduled to run at 5am everyday and this main report triggers other 30 report upon successful completion.
These 30 reports goes to pending status and remain in pending status for long time. Once i restart the crystal services (Server intelligence agent) all the reports start running.
We are unable to find the root cause for this issue.
Could someone please assist me with this issue.
Thanks.

Hi Guru,
We had checked the logs on the same day and no errors messages. We had 5 reports completed by 6am and rest 25 reports gone to pending status.
We restarted the services by 8am and all the 25 reports started to run.
Confirming that no patching went on that day or the day before.
As you are aware our main report triggers a event and this event triggers all the 30 reports. We have not changed the schedule time, it is always at 5am.
We didnt make any changes to the system or server, just the service restart resolved the issue and never occured again. The following day all the reports ran successfully.
Could you please advise if this issue can be related to service ports or any capacity issue at that point of time?
Thanks,
Sathish
Hi Sathish,
Is this is something that is observed recently? Did this combined schedule process every work successfully?
