BoM - Receipt from Production - Return Component

Dear All.

I am using Business One Version 9.0 PL14.

My client is in Printing Business during printing we use fresh Ink (1kg) and Dilute it is a Consistency for Printing which now gives (1.5Kg Diluted Ink).

After the Production in finished i would like to return diluted Ink (Return Component).

Is there a way or a work around for this return as this is not part of the Initial BoM

Hi,

Yes possible to return component afer finished production order.

Try this:

1. I have create three item master data like Print, INK Raw and INK Dilute with manual issue type.

2. Create production type BOM only for Print and INK raw

3. Create standard production order using above BOM.

4. Add INK dilute in this production order.

4. Do all standard process for this order.

5. After receving the FG, Go to receipt from production window and choose return component and select this production order.

6. In this window select only INK Dilute item and return this component.
