I want to hide the unwanted tabs in ESS/MSS.

You have that delete the workset in the portal.
If use NWBC You should delete using the t.code PFCG
If use ehp5 , you have that use the t.code LPD_CUST

Are you using WDA or WDJ apps.
Tab's are present in many places, depending on place and application, procedure would be different. Let us know which tabs you want to remove.

We are using WDJ app. Kindly guide
WDJ apps use home page area framework. From SPRO u can configure it.
Search on home page area frame work you will find lot of info at scn.
