Hi All,
I want to split the expense account balance into two based on cost center.
My requirement is there is only one GL account which contains expenses which are operational expenses as well as non operational (admin expense). So, I want to divide the amount in this GL into before Gross profit and after gross profit based on the amount posted to cost centers.
I believe this is possible through FGi4 please help me out experts.
Thanks in advance !
regards,
Satan
Hello,
I think you have already asked this quesition.
Am I right?
Yes, you can build up P&L in accordance to cost centers.

Hi Erwin !
I did ask but it seemed people understood it differently.
What I am looking for is:
Same GL account appears above Gross profit and Below gross profit (yes it should appear twice !)
The amount shown above gross profit should be from the GL account values posted along with operations related cost center while the amount shown after Gross profit from the same GL account should be from values posted along with administration related cost center.
I am looking at the IFRS compliant income statement format, Not like the one you have shown above. I am not ready to create another GL because there are multiple GL accounts of this nature I might end up creating lot of GL accounts of same nature so I want to keep one GL still divide it based on cost centers.
I believe SAP would have some way out for this through FGi4 transaction.
Anyway thanks for taking time to respond
Looking forward to hel
