Installation of SAP ERP6.0 Ehp7 with IS-oil

Dear All,

I would like to go fresh installation of ERP6.0 EhP7 with IS-OIL SAP Component, Master guide says if install ERP6.0 with EhP7 ISOIL component will included with 617 release level, so my question is it required to perform any other activities or directly can we use ISOIL.

Thanks SS for update, first note says solution when switching from SAP Utilities to IS OIL when activating and second note says integration of utilities and IS OIL/GAS.

still having doubt, when I install SAP ERP6.0 with EhP7 can I directly activate IS oil or needs to be upgrade any SPs.   Some threads sys IS OIL only included needs to be upgrade SPs and Inst. Guide says IS OIL component will come with 617 release level..

Hi

1. I think you have to upgrade because this IS-Oil is add-on module. it is not part of ERP 6

EHP7.

2. If your are planning to integrate to any other SAP module(like SAP BI,Portal) with ERP 6 EHP7 system. just read the SAP Note before starting the installation.
