smartform text element print probelm-Translation

Hi Experts,

I have a smartform form with original language of the form in  German so i maintained the form in it's original language and commented out some text in a text element.

When i test the form in german language  the commented code doesnt prints which is correct.

When i test the form in english language the commented code prints.

So i went to the global defination and translated the form to English language also and it doesnt work.

The problem here is because of the language but i dont know how to resolve it.

Any inputs experts.

Hello Bhanu,

Give me some more clear picture of your requirement.

As i understand form is not printing in German Language , so did you used SE63 for your translation of text field values ?

Also please clear me about below two lines :

When i test the form in german language  the commented code doesnt prints which is correct.

When i test the form in english language the commented code prints.

I am wondering how commented code is printing in English.

We normally use transaction SE63 for translation of Smartforms.

Let me know your more concerns .

I resloved the issue using SE63 indeed. I wasn't sure if thats the way to do it but finally it worked.

Oh Nice, Yes we need to put the translation in to SE63 also than only it will reflect to the output .
