Import Business Packages on Enterprise Portal

Hi All,

I need to Import a Retail business Package on Portal (NW 7.4). Do we have any shortway to Upload .SCA file on Portal not using SUM Tool.

or  is there any way to convert .sca file to .epa file..?

Hi,.....

IF you have NWDS 7.3 & Higher version then you can you Deployment view to directly deploy the Package.

In Deployment View you just need to select the business package and deploy on the portal server.

No need to use SPM to deploy.

Hi Letz,

There is no shortway to deploy SCA. Conversion from SCA to epa, etc, is not possible.

SUM is the recommended tool in your scenario.

You can follow the below SAP KBA to deploy the .SCA file on Portal:-

1715441 - How to deploy .SCA/ .SDA/ .EAR/ .WAR files on J2EE servers on Netweaver release 7.1 and higher

You can use any of the options as mentioned in the above SAP KBA to deploy the .SCA file.
