Crystal reports error

Hi everyone,

Previously I created a report separately called 'CrystalReport2' and placed it as a sub report in another report document called 'CrystalReport1'.

And I have linked it with right field. In design and preview mode it displays all the contents of the report.

But when i run it in an application,it works fine until it reaches to print the details of the sub report. It displays an error message:

'Cannot determine the queries necessary to get data for this report.Failed to retrieve data from the database'.

I'm providing the parameter for the report to run.

When I created the sub report, I chose the option: "Choose a Crystal Report in project".

Do I have to create the sub report with the report wizard or is there another option to fix it?

Thank you

Hi dj,

You gave me a useful link. I had an improper table link between parent and child tables.

Thanks.
