Workbook and queries is taking long time to run

Hello Gurus,

I am facing issue with workbook and queries. They are taking too long time to execute. Sometimes it is getting hanged. I checked in TCODE SM66. It is getting hanged on CL_SQL_R ( Sequential read) Statement.

If it is some huge Data in report ( Internal table space exceded)

Could someoen help me on this.

Please suggest me some points to improve performance of workbook setting.

Hello Devesh,

My first recommendation is to ensure the issue is exclusive related to workbooks.

Try at transaction RSRT2, execute the queries of this workbook and check if the performance issue occurs there as well.

If it is Workbook exclusive, please read this Wiki page:

If the issue occurs on RSRT2, it is a little more complicated.
