Not able to Filter per Dimension Filter or Filter Panel on a HANA Calculation View as DataSource

Hi experts,

I´m not able to set filter values per Dimension Filter or Filter Panel based on a HANA calculation view as DataSource.

Any ideas?

Hi Michael - which version of Design Studio are you using?

My only guess (not using HANA myself) is this blog from Victor - - is the calculation view set for multi dimensional reporting?

thanks for your reply and the informative blog from Victor!

Unfortunately, there is no Setting "Multidimensional Reporting" in the properties of the calculation view.

I´m astonished, because the other Filter Panel Features (Drill Down, etc.) or set Filter per selected CrossTab Member or per selected Drop Down Member works as expected.

Which version of Design Studio are you using? Which version of HANA?

Design Studio 1.4

SAP HANA Studio 1.0

There are some fixes coming for patch 1 of DS 1.4 for filters - see http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2096702

but I don't see your use case mentioned.  Could you create a SAP incident message with SAP Support, and reference this thread?
