Hi,

We have a scenario in which we need to convert FINSTA Idoc to MT940 text file in PI 7.1.

Please share your inputs about the approach here.

Would it be possible with java mapping or is there another way around.

Regards,

Vikram

Hi,

I think standard practice is to map MT940 to FINSTA IDOC when bank sends the Account Statement file. So check with your functional team on this once again.

Secondly this is quite old approach by now CAMT053 is available and can be use by SAP standard program where PI can be used as a pass through interface which mean no mapping in PI. But it all depends on the bank with which your project is dealing with so MT940 can still be the case valid for you.

Hi Sarvesh,

Yes you are correct. It's always the other way but in this case, they want it to be outbound.

I am checking with functional team for CAMT53 option.

Thanks,

Vikram

Hi Vikram,

I believe you can use the Graphical Mapping for IDOC to Flat File conversion.

Get the mapping specs inputs from your functional consultant.

Please check if the following doc helps for setup:

Hi,

Some field will be repeating in one payment, but with FCC, we cannot repeat it.

So, its not possible this way.

Thanks for your input.
