Error in LSMW for PA40: 'Please maintain number range full RP_PLAN$$$$',

Hi Ppl,

While hiring the employees through PA40 , we dont have the option to hire multiple employee

at one go . So we have made LSMW . Now the issue is that system is throwing an error regarding

external number range i.e 'Please maintain number range full RP_PLAN$$$$'. We get error only

if we are running the LSMW in background however it is running fine in the foreground. 

We have already checked the file format and it is fine. Even the external number range is not full .

Please help me regarding this .

Hi Saurab,

For PA40 LSMW is not advisable as there are lot of complications(like number range issue, positions, Org units etc) and it has not worked for me till date, It is good to make a BDC with the help of Technical consultant and it works really smooth.
