Automatic Batch determine at Sales Return

Dear Gurus,

In my sales scenario user enter the batch at outbound delivery level.

I need when user create return of the sales order system automatically call batch number from outbound delivery.

Looking for gurus response.

Hi,

if you are creating the sales return from the Invoice you need to activate the automatic determination for the sales area+document type and the Item category

With reference to which document (Sales Order or Invoice), you are creating returns?

As per standard, it should work without any issues. Have you tried it?
