Portal Kernel Upgrade and Checking Version

Dear Portal Gurus,

We want to upgrade kernel of  the Portal system. When i check the http:\\ip:portal\monitoring/SystemInfo i couldnt get any version of kernel as ABAP system in the related screen shot.

1 - Where can i check the kernel version of Portal ?

2 - Is the same procedure as ABAP for upgrading kernel like copying files and replaces them manually ?

You can find the kernel information by running the disp+work -version or disp+work -V commands as <SID>adm user.

You can also use the sapcontrol tool to find the kernel information.

Updating the kernel for a J2EE stack is same like updating kernel of an ABAP stack.

By the way i found the kernel version : Kernel Version: 7.30.3710.215228.20130312125729

How can i upgrade this and how can i check the latest version of this kernel in SMP ?
