Hello!
For those of you that have salaried non exempt employees, how do you pay them, hourly or as a regular salaried employee (ESG CAP 1 or 3?). These employees are a little tricky as they are salaried but still have to get paid for overtime.
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
Salaried employees (whether exempt or non-exempt) are marked to CAP 3 and Hourly employees to CAP 1.
Thanks,
Ameet

Hello,
Salaried nonexempt employees pay gets calculated based on salary rate for a fixed number of hours. If work hours worked exceeds the fixed number of hours week, then they receive overtime compensation. The basis of the calculation of their overtime compensation is the equivalent hourly rate the employee earns.and CAP will be 1
