I have an application that was initially deployed in II7 (server 2008 r2). The server has crystal runtime and full version of crystal 2008 installed. The application was upgraded using Visual studio 2010.
Now we moved to a new environment. ,Windows 8 Server 2012. I installed IIS on the server. I deployed the application, it is throwing CrystalDecisions.VSdesigner.dll version 12.0.2000.0 cannot load.....
I have the same crystal runtime and full version of crystal installed that has always worked in the past. Also, in the IIS the 32 Bit is enabled.
If I comment the code in the web config file , the application works but then I cannot open Reports. What is the problem?
Do I need to install another runtime of Crystal for Windows 8? Do I have to do anything else with the reports? they were built using crystal 2008. Please help!!
