Hi, I recently upgraded a wonderware project which was using the old crystal reports so I had to upgrade the crystal reports to the latest version as well. The syntax is no longer applicable with the new object: Crystal ActiveX Report Viewer Control 14.0
#CrystalReport1.ReportSource = "C:\Reports\crreport.rpt";
#CrystalReport1.ViewReport();
The script validates fine but when I run the screen I get the error:
Error processing CrystalReport1.ReportSource on setting string property. Type mismatch on parameter 1 (DISP_E_TYPEMISMATCH)
Any wonderware users here who were able to resolve this issue? Most of the help online is for visual basic code but nothing for wonderware
Hi Asma
The ActiveX component was retired in Crystal Reports 11.5 (CI R2). Additionally, CR version 14.0, does not instal any SDK, be it .NET or Java, not that this would help your ActiveX issue.
Your best bet is to contact Wonderware and ask them how to proceed.
