SAP B1 9.0 pl11 - System Error Message "Item No. is missing"

I was wondering if anyone had and idea as to why our users are getting a system message "Item No. is missing" when they select purchase order from the Purchasing Menu.

I cannot explain why this appears and am hoping for some insight.

How about any other documents? Or only PO has this issue?

No other marketing documents, just the purchase order ..............it is not stopping us processing.

It is just one of those "Scully and Mulder" type thing that I cannot explain to my end users

You may check OPOR, POR1 and OITM tables to see if there is anything that may be not linked properly.

Yes I can still create the PO,  ..............just seems strange that this message appears when you first access the Purchase order  from the purchasing module

If any addon running, stop and then try.

In general item missing message  will appear after choosing vendor code and try adding other than item no first.
