Shipment Execution Dates

Hi Experts

Our client requirement is, Shipment execution dates should not be editable once the shipment is completed (in VT02N ).

But in standard SAP, it allows to edit the dates even after Shipment completion.

Is there any way to achive this requirement?

I think with this user exit V56UCHCO (   EXIT_SAPLV56U_002) Checking of Shipments for Completeness.. you can achieve this.If any user tries to change shipment execution dates then using this exit throw the error message ' Dates are not editable as the shipment already

completed ''

If you want to give some exception to change the shipment dates for few users then maintain some variable entry in TVARV table ,add user ids in this table ,So that they can edit the shipment.Check with your ABAP person.
