Hi,

First check the loan GL account whether it is showing as open items or not. Second when you run the valuation you have to select the check box "Valuation G/L account open items" under the tab Open items.

Hi,

IF the loan account is maintained in Foreign currency in GL master data or its an open clearing item posted in Foreign currency, then the account will be included in FX valuation. If you do not want to carry FX valuation on this GL, then exclude this GL from the FAGL_FC_VAL selection options.

Hi Prabhu,

GL code is not set as Open Item and as you said if i exclude this gl account under open items tab

Valuate GL account open items, then system won't valuate.

Here my doubt when the Open item is not set in FS00 for this gl account where is the question of considering this gl account for valuation in FAGL_FC_VAL?

Can you please clarify?

Thanks

Lee.

Hi,

Check the currency of your company code and the GL account currency. If its different then the GL account is Foreign currency based and need to be evaluated for FX during month end. For this type of  GL account , usually in GL Balances tab its entered to be includedin fx evaluation.

Hi,

You have to exclude the GL account under the tab of G/L balances. However you have to select the check box "Valuate G/L account balances".

Hi,

Please check whether the loan account is still shown as Open Item as the valuation is done on Open Items.
