is it possible to use Xamarin (C#) to enhance existing Fiori apps

Dear experts,

we are planning to use existing Fiori applications (like the Approve Travel Expense)

is it possible to use Xamarin/Visual Studio/C# to enhance the Fiori applications?

i heard that SAP Web IDE tool prompts developers to enhancement points (UI, backend etc)

is this something Xamarin can do as well?

can i just import the Fiori application code in Visual Studio, change it and deploy it back to Fiori Front End sever (SAP NWGW)?

You can extend Fiori application by using the SAP Web IDE. This is a web-based tool and it provides all the functionality to make modifications to existing Fiori applications.

I am fully aware of the capabilities of SAP Web IDE.

but my customer wants to use Xamarin (they are already using the tool and they dont want to bring another tool)... so my question is. can they use xamarin for SAP fiori apps that are delivered by sap.

what are the pros/cons of using xamarin
