Cannot change Tax Report Date BKPF-VATDATE although defined in "Rules for Changind Documents"

Hi,

curiously I cannot change the tax report date in FB02 although this field (BKPF-VATDATE) is defined in customizing (SPRO -> FA Global Settings -> Document -> Rules for Changing Documents) that the field can be changed.

Do you have an idea what else I have to check?

Thankful for every idea!

I have it. If the document was reported already, the field VATDATE is closed and can´t to be changed.

You can check it in table BSET, if the field STMDT contains date, the document was reported and VATDATE can´t to be changed.

Hello all,

I have same issue.

I cannot change VATDATE by FB02.

I can input this field, but system do not recognize my input parameters, and display "No change were made".

- VATDATE has been activated by global parameter.

- Document change rule is defined for specific company codes.

and the check box "posting period not closed" is not activated.

- Field STMDT in table BSET has not yet been updated.

So I think this document was not yet reported.

In addition, if document was reported, I cannot input VATDATE in FB02 document header.

Do you have any another ideas?

Hi Chihiro,

maybe this SAP message helps..

Correct the tax reporting date

Message no. FF785

Diagnosis

The tax reporting date is check using the rules of BAdI: Define and Check Tax Reporting Date (VATDATE_VALUES).

Procedure for System Administration

This message is configurable.

You may need to customize the check rules in your own BAdI implementation.

See also SAP Note 1232484.

Dear Kenan Cakir,

Thank you for your reply.

I found there are some logics implemented.

I will check it with my developper.

Hi Kenan,

Have you defined the rules for all co.codes or only for selective co.code? And also check whether you have selected the check box "posting period not closed" for the rule.

Hi Mukthar,

the rule is defined only for selective company codes.

The checkbox "posting period not closed" is not activated, so this is fine...
