Hello,
Our organization is looking to upgrade our Windows 10. Can we still use Outlook Express with the new version of Windows?
Do PB 12.5 / PB 12.6 will support Windows Live Mail?
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks
Hi Yasir;
I severely doubt it as PB still implements only basic MAPI and not extended MAPI or better yet SMTP. MS has added a lot of Anti-Spam checking in Live Mail and thus, any basic MAPI "mail send" will keep prompting the application user for a Spamming condition.
FWIW: I would switch your PB application over to using SMTP
FYI: Topwiz Software - EmailSMTP

My SMTP object is a good replacement for MAPI email. It communicates directly with your mail server so no email client is required.
If you are wondering about a good email client to replace Outlook Express, try OE Classic - Easy to use Outlook Express replacement.
It is an Outlook Express clone that only costs $25 and runs on any version of Windows.
