Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to implement 2 different SAP Notes in 2 different Transport request, but after implementing first SAP note when I try to implement another one system is proposing the 1st TR only.

Can anyone solve this issue.

Thanks.

If both notes will touc same objects you must do next actions:

1. Apply Note 1

2. Release TR of Note 1

3. Apply Note 2

4. Release TR of Note 2.

same order for import in QAS-PRO

Hope Help

Hi,

Release the main request used to imnplement the SAPNOTE1.

This is not prompt the same request while implementing the SAPNOTE2.

Hi

Apply the first SNOTE and  release the first TR, apply the second SNOTE and  capture in a new TR . [ If the two notes are related  and if you want to capture in multiple TR's ]

Or else after as suggested by Joseph  create a new TR .  ( Better to release the previous task in the first TR  if the subsequent note is related to first)

If you want to have more control while importing into subsequent systems  it is best to follow the first method

Thanks ,

Manu

The system will bring up the pop-up window for the TR request creation with the previously created TR number filled. You need to decide whether you want to include the note in the same request or create a new one. if you want a new TR then click on the create button for a new TR

... system is proposing the 1st TR only.

You are by no means obliged to follow this proposal.

Just click the 'create' icon for a new one.

hope this helps

Hi Josef,

Thanks for your reply.

But the issue is system is proposing only to create subtask of the Main Task of 1st SAP note TR.

It is not allowing to create a new one.

Hi  Ravdeep,

This is because the objects changed by the second note  ( the notes might be  related ) should already be locked in the first TR , hence release the task in the first TR and try implementing the second NOTE

Thanks,

Manu
