DBA Parameters "Unexpected error : An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL oc" in managed system configuration

Hi Experts,

I  adding my satellite system (Quality System) into Solution manager 7.1 , I have successfully add (push) trough SLD.

Now configuring my satellite system & i have successfully done 4 steps without any error. now i am on step 5 "Enter System Parameters"

In DB Parameters

DBA Cockpit Connection Status showing disable state

when i Click on detail it show error "Unexpected error : An exception with the type CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL oc"

Please tell me what is the issue & how i can resolve the same.

Hi Sanjeev ,

I also had a strong feeling you should be on sybase /DB2

If you are on sybase , Apply SAP Note 1687320  or better apply 1558958 on the solution manager system and give a try

Also sent us the screenshot of your managed system SAP_BASIS/SAP_APPL version

I have already applied SAP Note 1558958 on my solution manager .

Hi Sanjeev ,

Please apply the NOTE 1619967 in the managed system as well ( Not production i  believe ) . The issue should be fixed

1619967 - SYB: DBA Cockpit Correction Collection SAP Basis 7.31

Also make sure that the note versions implemented ie 1558958 in your  solution manager system  is the most recent 75

now

What database is that you are trying to connect ?

Try to update your Solman DBSL and share the logs which you see in details section.

Hi,

I am using Sybase 15.7.0.122 on my Solution Manager as well as on managed system.

I have also check database log on managed system there is no issue.

Please tell me why DBA Cockpit Connection Status showing on disable state?? into step 5.
