How to locate a store by latitude,longitude values on map in ipad (C4C)

Dear Experts,

I have to Implement the below scenario in SAP C4C using IPAD.

1.Manager should Assign a list of stores to an employee to do survey.

2.For Employee the list of stores should be displayed on the map with latitude and longitude values as inputs

3.If the employee selects any one of the store on the map,routing navigation should be opened on the map from current location to selected store.

Is it possible to achieve the above scenario by SAP C4C.

Hi,

Most of it you ask is described in the Admin and user guides.

1.

Yes by making use of the Activity planner and Routing rules which contains conditions in order to (automatically) assign tasks and surveys to a visit, a manger or sales support employee can assigne these visits to a salesrep.

2.

No. Customer locations are displayed on a map by flags. On an iPad just tap on this flag and the visit location is opened. GPS coordinates are not available in the standard.

In the iPad app go to Visits-->Visit planner

Tap on the map view (top right of screen)

Select the List icon and select the customers in the list. The selected customers are marked blue

Tap on the Map icon. This wil open a Google map with the route containing the selected customers. The C4C apps has your current location and calculates the rout from your current location. In Google maps you can change the location for example if you plan a route today in your office but the actual route satrt tomorrow from your home address.
