BOM quotation child part showing open status

Dear Gurus,

we have created sales order with reference to quotation for BOM material(pricing at itme level). parent material status is showing complete but the child material status is open.client requirement is that bom should explode in quotation as well as sales order.let me know where we can do the setting so that quotation will be complete after creating sales order.

HI Preet,

U meaning after create SO with reference QT, the QT need to explored the BOM or as create QT which system will auto explore the child part.

Thanx for the reply.when we create sales order then BOM should reexplode.The setting is in VTAA reexplode structure/free goods. Here setting is correct but as the BOM is reexploding child part of quotation is not coping to the sales order.child part staus showing open staus.We want it to be completed ststus.

• Check the item categories settings for child items.
• For BOM explosion, mark the check box 'Reexplode structure/free goods' in VTAA.

Thanx for quick response.we are using standard item category AGN. and in VTAA Reexplode/free goods is selected

In sales order as the child part is not coping(it is reexploding ) so child part line item is showing incomplete.Any other setting there ?

Hi All,

Issue resolved. I have created a new item category for child item and make the completion rule as blank.it is working fine. Thanx for your support.
