IS there a Way to change Cost Center if the User is not authorised to use tcode PO13 & PP01

We have restricted few user to use tcode PO13 & PP01, since we are centralizing the process of creating the positions.

but as a daily there are instances where users need to change the cost center of employees, is there any other way or process where the users can change only cost centers and cannot create positions.

Check with authorization object P_ORGIN, P_ORGINCON ask them to provide authorization on the basis of Info type 1001 and sub type A011 it may resolves your problem check with basis consultant.

Further check IT0027 and check IT1018 cost distribution as well.

Hi Vikrant,

We will assign the CC for either org. unit or position in the OM objects. and while employee is hired with position he is part of that particular CC which is already assigned to the position or org.unit.

now you want to change CC of the particular employee you can do directly change in the Employee master data IT 0001 if OM & PA integration is off (PLOGI ORGA ___). if integration is ON (PLOGI ORGA X) then system will not allow to changed the CC directly. CC field will be grey out.

if you want to change CC of any employee you have to change the position of the employee for this you have to run Action type change of position.

if you give your specific req. for changing of CC for an employee, then we can suggest the best suggestions.

Hi Vikrant,

Give them the authorization of IT27 which cost distribution. In this infotype they will assign the new cost center with 100% share.

Then at the time of posting system will consider this cost center which is assigned in IT27 and will not consider IT1 cost center details.
