Hi Everybody:

Does someone know if Sysam 2.3 works on Win 8 64 bits?, this is because I´m trying to update the license on PB 12.6 to Standalone Seat Server but I have error.  The Sysam Server 2.3 is installed in the same machine where PB is and this is Win 8 64 bit.

I have reviewed the protocol IPV4, the port.

I will appreciate any help about this

The error is:

Hi Sandra,
That error message usually occurs when you have IPv6 enable and you start Sysam using IPv4 lmgrd.exe.

Verify whether or not IPv6 is enabled.  See "How can I enable IPv6?" at IPv6: frequently asked questions - Windows Help.

If it's enabled run C:\Sybase\SYSAM-2_0\bin\lmtools.exe and go to the Config Services tab.  Then for path to lmgrd.exe browse to C:\Sybase\SYSAM-2_0\bin\binIPv6\lmgrd.exe and save the configuration.  Then restart the Sysam service.

Hi Ted

Thanks for the answer.  However I could solve the problem so that I did was in PB use ip address instead of the actual server name in "Computer name of the license Server ".
