I am getting the warning message "dba cockpit connection cannot be established" during the managed system configuration step "Enter System Parameters". See the screenshot in attachment.

Any ideas, please?

Hi Sreenivas ,

Please check this note

2074769 - Solution Manager: Invalid alerts

This note is valid for Hana Database and the most recent once , it has valid corrections for the class CL_HDB_ADBC .. though nothing concrete is mentioned for this error

I would give it a go ..

Thanks ,

Manu

Hi Manu,

Have you try by updating the DBSL on solman system ?

Make sure this one also supports the managed system DB.

Hi Srivastava,

I see that the DBSL has already green tick mark in DB02 in SolMan for HANA Managed system. Actually, i have an issue "Exception CX_DBA_ADBC in class CL_HDB_ADBC method GET_TABLES line 40 / RC=ADBC" (see screenshot in previous responses) after creating the managed system entry in DB02 of SolMan.

Any other ideas, please?

Thanks & best regards,

Srinu

Hi Sreenivasa ,

Try to do the DB connection manually .

1 ) go to transaction db02 in solution manager

2 ) Under system configuration  , Click Add

3 ) Enter the  Hana DB  connectivity data

4 ) If the connection goes fine .. continue the activity in Managed System setup in solution manager

Try this and if errors happen in 3 or 4  attach the screenshots

Thanks ,

Manu

Hi Manu,

I am using HANA DB for managed system configuration in SolMan. In TA: DB02 of SolMan, I created system configuration entry of managed system and then saved. It ended with the same error "Exception CX_DBA_ADBC in class CL_HDB_ADBC method GET_TABLES line 40 / RC=ADBC error".

Best regards,

Srinu

Hi Srinu,

In the setup screen you are not getting the option to give connection Parameter , usually this case arises when DB is not present in LMDB.

Check your DB is present under "Database System" in LMDB.

Hi Mani,

I see that the DB system is available in LMDB.

For your information, the managed system is a SAP NW 7.4 HANA system. In our case, we have two different SID's, one for SAP GUI System and other for HANA DB. Both are installed on different server hosts.

Any other ideas, please?

Thanks & best regards,

Srinu
