Training & event management in ESS

Hi all,

I just need 1 confirmation. In , Siddharth Rajora has told that if we want to use Training module in ESS through NWBC, we need to use LSO for that. Thats right. But one customer has implemented Training & Event management in R/3 and not implemented LSO module. Now they want to do all Training activities( like booking for Training, cancelling etc..) through ESS in NWBC by not implementing LSO. Is it possible..??

Yes why wouldn't it be possible. But you'll need to adapt the ESS role and add the transactions yourself

Sorry for the late reply.

I think the reason why it is not possible is, In ESS we are using 2 applications for Training :

Manage Participants  Manage Participation - Manager Self-Service in SAP NetWeaver Business Client - SAP Library

Manage mandatory assignments. Manage Mandatory Assignments - Manager Self-Service in SAP NetWeaver Business Client - SAP Library

If you see those 2 application details , both are completely based on LSO.

Please check and tell is it possible to use those 2 applications with Training & Event Management  (without LSO)
