cost object + business area

Hello all,

Recently we started using business area filed, we have updated business area details in all the master data such as cost centers, Internal orders, Product cost collectors etc. and we try to update the business area in cost objects (KKPHIE/ KKP2), but we could able to update the business area only for few cost objects, in few cost objects the filed business area filed is disable mode, not sure why this field is disable in some cost objects and enable in some cost objects which are under the same object hierarchy.

Do we have any note or any other transaction to update business area? or how we can make enable business area in cost objects?

I have used t-codes KKPHIE and KKP2 to update but not worked, but i could able to update business area for the product cost collectors which are assigned to the same object!

i checked in SDN related to this, but nothing i  got on this, surprise no one have this issue!!
