Hi

I want to know user exit code for selecting employee in selection screen actually i had tried by characterstic v ariable but it does not work as it is hitting me error in bo side can any one give me small code for selecting employee as custo exit variable so that it could be very much helpful for me.

Hi Still,

Please take any abaper help and debug your Bex query whether the query is fetching any values with the variable or not.

when i am selecting the object and doing refresh for getting the values in selection screen i am getting error

ERROR BRAIN (629): Specify a value for variable

  MSGV1:

ABEND BRAIN (670): An error occurred when getting data from the processor.

Hi Still,

This has been logged as defect ADAPT01648739, a regression in BI 4 SP04.

Workaround:

1) Open the 'Set Variables' panel in the Query Panel

2) Set a default value  for the mandatory BEx prompt

3)  Go back to the member selector for the hierarchical object

refer the note 1743388
