RTL Support in 1.4

Hey all,

We have installed SBOP 4.1 SP4 & Design Studio 1.4 recently, and found out that the client isn't showing our templates in right-to-left (RTL).

All the texts and the components are aligned to left, instead of right, like it was in previous versions.

We tried to open the same templates in the 1.2 client, and saw that they are shown properly.

Both client versions are defined use language from Backend User Settings (on the main preferences screen), and the backend and OS properties are same.

Had anyone else faced the same behavior?

What can cause this difference between the client versions and how we can fix it?

Shlomi - to clarify, have you installed the latest patch to Design Studio 1.4?  A patch was issued on December 19

No, I haven't installed it.

Does this patch fix this problem? I couldn't find the fix log for this patch.

I cannot tell you for sure that it fixes the issue.  Only notes I found were http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2105998 and http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1773751

If you have to submit an issue to SAP Support, their first question (my take only) will be have you applied the patch

Hey Tammy,

Unfortunately, installing 1.4 Patch 1 and Patch 2 didn't solved the problem.

Are there any ideas besides opening an OSS?
