Dear All,

I have working on SAP BW 7.3 and following is the format of data in "Excel"

and following is the screen shot of data in DataSource during Read Preview Data.

1. In Excel "Column: A" format is Text and its not being fetching correctly into DataSource Preview data correctly as its missing dot(.) and its after number, why?

2. In Excel "Column: D" format is Number with 2 decimal places but its not being fetching correctly into DataSource Preview data correctly as its missing decimal and its values, why?

3. Do I need to change the column format into Excel or at DataSource level in Proposal tab?

4. What should I do to fetch the record in correct manner?

Many thanks!!!

Hi

Give NUMC as a data type for the specific field (Characteristic info object detail level) and try or change the data type at Data source level  in proposal tab..

For column D in Excel just go the Key figure info object details and give the below properties

   1. Number

go to Additional Properties then choose how many decimals you are going to display...see below

Hi,

You have to correct in Datasource fields tab as per your requirement.

Plese post that screenshot, if you have some doubts.
