MESSAGE_TYPE_X, CNDP 003, error when opening an RFC connection

Hi Experts,

We are facing an error of type, MESSAGE_TYPE_X, CNDP 003, error when opening an RFC connection.

We get this dump from many transactions.

Also, the problem is with multiple users.

For example, we come across this dump when using fpp1, cico, bp etc transactions.

Kindly provide some assistance on this issue.

Hi Mamta,

Is there any recent update performed on your system like kernel update, patch update or SAP version update post which these abap dumps are occuring.

You may also check with updating your GUI to 7.30 version and latest patch. Most of the Message_type_x problems are related to SAPGUI issues.

We have not performed any updates recently.

2-3 users are facing the same issue.
Hence, ruled out the GUI issue.
