Following are the details of the issue.
LC1 - Company Code Currency CAD
LC2 – Group Currency USD.
Source Currency: 2 Translation taking first local currency as a basis
Exchange Rate maintained are -
Direct: 1 CAD = 1.16 USD / Indirect: 0.86 CAD = 1 USD
Document posted with $ 1.00 USD on each line.
I was expecting to see $ 1.00 in LC2. But it is calculated $ 1.35.
What could be wrong with the settings.. Any pointers are highly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi,
TC: 1.00 USD
LC1: 1.16 CAD = 1.00 usd / 0.86
LC2: 1.35 USD = 1.16 cad * 1.16 (Source Currency: 2 Translation taking first local currency as a basis)
I think the setting works correctly.
If you would like to make LC2: 1.00 USD, you should
- set sourse currency of LC2: 1 Translation taking transaction currency as a basis
OR
- no Indirect: 0.86 CAD = 1 USD rate setting and use Calculation allowed with inverted exchange rate indicator (TCURV-XINVR)
OR
- set Indirect: 0.86207 CAD = 1 USD

Ayako
