Webi Filter Bar - default to specific filters for each user

Hallo Guys

We have a lot of users using the same report.

We are trying to remove their favourite access (design mode, to save on licencing costs). But then we need to be able to let the filters default to their area.

Currently they save the report to their favourites and change the filters. That way they only have to refresh the report (and not go set all the filters everytime they open the report.)

There are hundreds of users. Each need to set 5 filters.

Is it possible to let a report default to specific set filters? Different for each user? Any ideas?

We are on BO 4.1 SP4

afaik ,this is not possible . Instead you can leverage Row level security /authorization .

We don't want to restrict access, the users should be able to view all the data, they just a have a default prefference. Any other ideas?
