How to Use ECM for Recipe Development PLM 7.02?

Hello All,

At our current customer we would like to record all the changes and have some changes done on post date. ECM seems be a functionality to work while creating and changing the Recipe, but i cant not use the Change Number while changing the General Recipe- Change Number filed is Grayed out and inherits the change number from original recipe .

I would appreciate your response to explain the  process how changes can be captured using change number while changing the General Recipe.

Version is used - EHp6 and PLM 7.02

Dear Gargi D,

In case of recipes you can only assign one change number and cannot change it later.

What you can do is to copy your general recipe and create a new alternative (or a new version) from it. That way you can assign a new change number to your recipe.

Beside this, you can use the Engineering Record to track you change history.
