Dear Experts,
I'm in process of configuring the IVR and when I listen to the prompts on my desktop the volume is pretty good. But when I configure the same in the Custom IVR, the volume reduces. Is there any way in which I can increase this volume so that the IVR is clearly audible. We have used the prompts in WAV format with PCM 8kHz, 16bit Mono.
Please help.
Regards,
Swapna
Hi Swapna,
For tasks like increase/decrease prompt's volume I usually use third-party program(e.g. Audacity), and then load prompt to IVR.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Alex

Hi Swapna,
please, could you give more information about the symptoms and setup.
Maybe stupid question but I have to ask - do you compare audio played on the same computer? And does desktop player and CDT uses the same audio device? Please, be aware that CDT has also internal volume control.
What codec do you use to play prompts?
Regards,
Dawood.
