“Maximum quota exceeded for privilege leave”- Urgent Help

Dear Team,

When employees trying to apply leave for one day OL (10.11.2014) through ESS, they can apply,

While apply more than one day leave (other leave) OL (10.11.2014 to 12.11.2014) or (privilege leave) PL through ESS display the following error:-

“Maximum quota exceeded for privilege leave”

These errors are shown for all employees. Client has not generated leave for current years 2015.

They have two type of leave other leave (OL) & Privilege Leave (PL)

Kindly suggest!

Previous year (2014) leave carry forward + current year leave generated

solve the problem.

There are 3 reasons might be

Check below BADI details PT_GEN_REQ, PT_ABS_REQ Go to SE18 pass these BADI details as enhancement spot click on display then click on enhancement implementations tab so that you will find whether anything is implemented or not.

check the table V_T554S where you can see maximum and minimum check them.

Check absence quota details from 2006.

As far i understand it seems to be a BADI implemented in system check the BADI what are all the conditions are mapped in enhancement spot.

Hi Rakesh,

1st check the table V_T554S minimum and maximum duration field entry for OS and PL absece quota related leave type.

Hi Rakesh,

Kindly make sure the leave balance/Quota for that specified Leave types in IT2006. if it is available then system does not through this error for any employees. so double check the Quota balance in IT2006 for time which employee is going to avail his/her leave. hope it solve your problem.
