Hello All, We are upgrading BI java from NW 7.01 SPS 13 to NW 7.4 SPS 9. Abap has been successfully upgraded with valid stack file. But BI Java part is not getting calculated in the stack file till NW 7.4, its only going till 7.31. We are not sure why the MOPZ behaves like this for Java upgrade stack calculation, when ABAP stack calculation is successfully done. Note: PAM, notes, Upgrade Paths, everywhere it says that BI java upgrade is possible as ABAP upgrade. Nowhere Java part seems mentioned that its not possible. Please guide if anyone faced this kind of issue. Regards Munish
Hi Munish,
Can you share the snap shot of technical system 'software section' ? What is the landscape patter that you have selected ? Sidecar or HUB ?
Also, for production version/instances, where have you used ABAP and JAVA product system ?
If you can share these details, may be then we can help.

Hi Munish,
After going through all reply, Can you please confirm if your Products are marked as relevant in SMSY/LMDB for As ABAP instance server, BI. and also in case of it its not a dual stack systems, but in LMDB or SMSY, You JAVA component has to be marked in Relevant Column for JAVA for SAP NW - BI Java. Once this is Done and LMDB is in Sync with your Systems.
You can see the BI & JAVA servers appear in your Mopz calculation. do a Sync with SLD, LMDB.
Once done let us know the status. Do Share the screenshot of SMSY or LMDB.
regards,
ram

addition to above message Stack file calculation is throwing below errors in mopz selection for 7.4, this is java system, not abap system, don't know why its giving this warning, checked all LMDB, all relations, but not found anything related which is pointing to abap. ABAP Queue Check FAILED with SY-SUBRC '2'. Result status 'Error during calculation' ('E'). OCS package SAPK-747BHINSAPBSFND does not match the current software

Hello Ashish, LMDB is correctly synced, no issues with this. I am able to generate the stack from current release NW 7.01 SPS 13 to NW 731 SPS latest, but not able to generate to NW 7.4. When I try to generate stack file for NW 7.4 its throwing error just before download "Stack can't be calculated" and in the logs is throwing below error" "Stack file calculation is throwing below errors in mopz selection for 7.4, this is java system, not abap system, don't know why its giving this warning, checked all LMDB, all relations, but not found anything related which is pointing to abap. ABAP Queue Check FAILED with SY-SUBRC '2'. Result status 'Error during calculation' ('E'). OCS package SAPK-747BHINSAPBSFND does not match the current software" I am not able understand where its taking this ABAP component, we have checked all the LMDB, product instances, technical instances, related systems etc. on the product instances we have two components SAP EHP1 for Netweaver 7.0 BI java system and xRPM 4.5 Note: we have already successfully upgraded splitter ABAP system of same release, this problem is coming only on BI java system. Regards Munish
Do you have Landscape verification result all OK ?
Update CIM content of you Solution manager system.
Also, In your Solution Manager, apply below note if it is applicable.
1935993 - SMSY: EHP7 - Product data is missing

Is it Dual stack? if it is yes mean you have to perform the SAP dual stack split. and then do the calculate the Java stack from solution manager
