In a single day i receive orders from various customers but has different delivery time slot which may be spread across 1 to 3 days. I need to release these orders for picking based on customers delivery date.
that you do with the wave template options. The times in there are used to combined the deliveries with the same delivery time (depending on the options you have maintained). The "Wave completion time" is the time which corresponds to the goods issue time or time when you leave the yard (as planned time in the ODO).

For stock removal, EWM uses the planned date and the planned time for Departure from Yard .
If these dates are not available, EWM uses the dates for the goods issue start for outbound deliveries."
Don't get to confused by the text which is following the above part. It simply means that EWM will not create a wave which ends later then the planned completion time (as long the "planned completion time" is not in the past)
