Free Goods determination for material determined from Material Determination

Dear experts,

My client requirement is, he has a regular customer who orders 10 quantity of X material but at present X material is not there in stock, But Y material is alternative for that & which is in stock and customer has agreed to order Y material, for Y material there is 2 free goods item, client do not want to extend free goods to this customer.

What can we do for this??

Try from Material Determination Process. It will solve your issue.

Dear Sagar,

       Configure free goods with combination Customer/Material combination then dont maintain freegoods for this customer and Configure Material Determination to sustitute Y material in place X material.

Try this,

use material determination,

1. material X should be replaced with Y in menu: master data /  material determination / Create  (Choose condition type A001)

2. free goods for Y: if available in system change free goods Master date for this customer.

HI,

free goods uses the condition technique as many other areas in SAP. So i depends on how is the clients system set up. i do not know exactly this customer configuration but you might could use requirement to for the specific need.

Hi Sagar,

This requirement is possible, in free goods determination (Tcode VBN1) need to maintain the combination of Customer/Material combination.

for NA00 discount type no need to maintain the "Y" material for free goods

then free goods will not determine in the sales order.
