F.05 not showing the exchange rate from OB08

Hi all,

I've been browsing through all previous posts to look for a solution, but no luck.

Our company has been using F.05 for more than 10 years for forex valuation.

For last two months F.05 is not showing any exchange difference, inspite of updating OB08 on a daily basis with the new exchange rate (Rate have been changing a lot)

Below screen shot shows the first exchange difference column as blank.

Appreciate if someone can offer a solution. I'm baffled as to why this has happenned on its own.

Thanks for the document.

The solution was on page 8 of your document.

For benefit of future readers, the solution was as below:

In similar situation as mine, where the valuation difference is zero, go to Tcode OB08.

Check whether the valuation procedure is set to "Reset".

If "reset" is the chosen option, then as per Sitaram's document it is valuated at the acquisition price, hence no valuation difference will arise.

You will need to change the parameter to "Always valuate" or any other parameter that is relevant to you.

So thanks to this forum and in particular Sitaram for the solution.

What is still a mystery is how the parameter changed to "reset" on its "own'? There is no item in change log.
