Transport design and configuration objects

Hello,

i have a XI development machine and finished developing and application.

Now i have to transport the design and configuration objects to another XI (no common sld).

What are the correct steps to do this?

I have tried to export and import the objects with the design and configuration tools but after importing it into the target xi i get errors during some configuration steps "interface does not exist within the repository ...).

Thanks

Peter

Hi,

1. Create all of your products and SWC in the new sld

Does this mean i have to create them manually within the new sld or do i have to export the SWC from the old sld and import it into the new one (in order to preserve the SWC guids)?

Thanks

Peter

Hi,

1. Create all of your products and SWC in the new sld

2. Configure the business systems involved - based on technical systems - sld

3. configure transport targets on your new sld

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ef/a21e3e0987760be10000000a114084/content.htm

(so that you will be able to import directory)

4.import your repository

5.import your directory

Done I guess
