BAPI to Update Batch number in delivery

Hi All,

I am using the BAPI "SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING" to update the picked quantity in the delivery. But when I am trying to use the same BAPI for updating the Batch number in the delivery via the CHARG field of E1EDL44 segment in IDOC, its not gets updated in the delivery. Any help or update on this that where I am missing or do I need to use another BAPI to update the delivery. Any help would be greatly acknowledged.
