Package not appearing in bex query designer

Hi experts,

When saving a query in BEX Query Designer, directly the request popup is appearing and package is not appearing.

Query Designer version - BI AddOn 7.X (based on 7.30), Support package 0, Revision 681.

Is there a need to implement any sap notes to upgrade to a higher version.

Please advice as this is most urgent

Regards,

Vivek

again go to the transport connection again collect the query then change the pacakge.

Hi Vivek,

I think that setting is done by the basis Team.

Hi,

Go to RSA1 > Transport Connection > Click on BEx > Add/Assign Package to transport request.

Thanks,

Hi Bhavin,

Thanks for the information.

I can do that as well earlier in Transport connection but I want to do this specifically in BEX Query Designer. When I save, the package popup does not appear.

Vivek

Hi Vivek,

you can try this option as well,

RSA1> Transport Connection > Edit >  Transport > Switch On standard.

Thanks,

Hi Bhavin,

I could try this but if you could send some screenshots as an example of the way to go about this, it would be helpful. Since there are some users of the system who are accessing the transport connection and the transports also are carried out on a daily basis, I would not like to do this without proper documentation/understanding.

Thanks in advance

Vivek

Hi Vivek,

Go to RSA1 and Transport Connections and follow below steps as per snap,

I guess you need to have a system Open in SCC4 to do this. so Check with your basis team.

Thanks,
