0TCAIPROV and Multiproviders

Here's the scenario.  I have a DSO(ZDSO1) included in a Multiprovider(ZMPRO1) both contain authorization relevant infoobject(ZAUTH). Does the analysis authorization object 0TCAIPROV need to have both ZMPRO1 and ZDSO1 as authorized values?  Or just ZMPRO1?

Hi Michael,

Analysis Authorization for 0TCAIPROV: only ZMPRO1 is required if all queries are defined on the Multiprovider. Alternatively you can give full authorization for 0TCAIPROV (depending on your authorization model).

Next to this you need of course Analysis Authorization for authorization relevant InfoObject ZAUTH.

Hi Michael,

If you have querys of ZMPRO1, only need this object, if you have a cube, and your cube have querys, you need both.

Check in pfcg your authorization (S_RS_AUTH, S_RS_COMP and S_RS_COMP1).
