Print work order when releasing

Hello,

do you know how to print out automatically a maintenance work order when the status change to Release? Currently, we have to print them manually in the transaction IW3D after it is released.

Hello Carlos,

For maintenance order, you can use IW38 or IW39 to print.

Also Put in Process will trigger the Release function with print option with save.

yes, this option works properly. But do you know another option to release and print automatically when the WO is created?

As I know there is no other option release and print automatically when the WO is created in standard SAP.

Put in Process address your requirement.

yes, I reviewed it but I think it answers only to the second question about pop up because I have tested and the work order is not printed automatically.

It seems there is no provision in standard configuration to achieve your requirement you need to go for custom program for IW38 to trigger print based on order release.
